LEGALLAST UPDATED 2026-04-21

Accessibility statement.

What we commit to, how we test, and how to tell us when we fall short.

Quick answer
NUUN Digital targets WCAG 2.2 AA conformance on nuundigital.com. We build accessible by default — semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, visible focus, sufficient contrast, and text alternatives. If you hit something that doesn't work for you, email and we'll fix it within 15 business days or tell you why we can't.

Our standard

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is the standard recommended by the Accessible Canada Act, required under Ontario's AODA, and used as the reference point by the US Department of Justice under the ADA and by the EU Accessibility Act.

How we test

We test with a combination of automated tooling (axe-core via Playwright, Lighthouse), manual keyboard-only walkthroughs, screen-reader spot checks (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS), and — on major releases — usability sessions with disabled participants recruited through a specialist panel.

Known issues

We maintain an internal tracker of known accessibility bugs and their remediation timelines. Current public gaps, as of the last audit:

  • Some third-party embedded video may not carry captions. We prompt the embedder before publishing and fall back to linking out when captions are missing.
  • Our interactive world map on the contact page is supplemented by a text list of offices for keyboard and screen-reader users.
  • PDF resources older than 2024 have not all been re-rendered to current tagged-PDF standards; we re-tag on request.

Reporting an issue

Email with the page URL, the browser or assistive tech you were using, and what didn't work. We reply within 2 business days, fix within 15 business days for high-severity issues, and keep you posted if the fix takes longer.

Alternative formats

We can provide any content on this site as plain text, large print, or audio on request. Turnaround: 5 business days for most requests. There's no charge.

What we commit to

Two things. First, every new page launches at WCAG 2.2 AA or we don't publish it. Second, we run a third-party accessibility audit at least annually and publish the summary findings here.
