Quick answer
NUUN Digital's Design practice builds brand identities and visual systems, UX and UI design for products, marketing website design, and motion design. Every engagement is scoped against a measurable outcome — conversion rate, brand recall, trial-to-paid, or bounce-rate reduction — and shipped with the systems library, tokens, and governance attached.

How we work.

A six-step process from discovery to measured outcome.

  1. 01

    Discover

Interviews, audits, and a written problem statement.

  2. 02

    Design

Approach options with trade-offs and pricing.

  3. 03

    Plan

Phase-by-phase plan with a single accountable owner.

  4. 04

    Build

Execution in weekly sprints, stakeholder demos every 2 weeks.

  5. 05

    Measure

Against the KPI we set in week one. No vanity metrics.

  6. 06

    Compound

Quarterly review, roadmap refresh, next bet.

Beautiful is table stakes. Conversion is the job.

Most agency design dies the day the brand guidelines PDF is emailed out. Ours lives in design tokens, component libraries, conversion tests, and a governance rhythm that keeps it in sync with the product and the marketing org.

We pair every design engagement with measurement — so we know which version of the landing page actually sold, and which hero treatment actually moved recall.

Comparison — design engagement shapes

Our design system principles

Accessibility-first — WCAG 2.2 AA contrast minimums, semantic structure, focus states, motion respect. Token-driven — every color, type ramp, spacing unit, and motion curve lives as a design token so code and design stay in sync. Performance-aware — image, font, and motion choices scored against Core Web Vitals impact. Brand-systematic — components compose; exceptions are documented; one-offs require governance approval.

Industries we know

FAQ.

Do you only do digital design, or also brand and print?
Both. NUUN started as a design-led agency, and brand identity is a core competency — including print, packaging, environmental, and event design. Most of our recent work is digital-first, but we build brand systems that extend cleanly across physical and digital surfaces.
How is your design work different from a boutique brand studio?
We build design as a system, not a one-off, and we measure it. Brand studios typically deliver a beautiful guidelines PDF and hand off. We deliver a design system with tokens, components, Figma libraries, governance, and the instrumented website or product to prove the design converts. If you want a PDF, hire a studio. If you want a system, hire us.
Do you design with accessibility in mind?
Accessibility is the default, not an add-on. Every design ships with WCAG 2.2 AA color-contrast compliance, keyboard-navigable flows, semantic structure guidance for engineers, focus-state definitions, and reduced-motion alternates. For regulated sectors (public sector, healthcare, education) we extend to WCAG 2.2 AAA on request.
Can you work with our existing design team?
Routinely. We often sit alongside in-house design as the system-building or product-redesign partner, or as the third-party evaluator on a new direction. We also frequently transfer our design systems to in-house teams with documentation and training once the system is stable.
Do you use AI in the design process?
Yes, with discipline. AI assists on research synthesis, pattern exploration, and asset generation for rapid iteration — but final deliverables are human-designed, human-reviewed, and shipped with attribution for any AI contribution. We don't ship AI-generated brand identity as a final deliverable.
How do you handle design tokens and hand-off?
Every design system ships as Figma libraries with variables, exported as W3C-standard design tokens via Style Dictionary, ready for integration with code design systems (Tailwind, Material, Radix, etc.). We run a token-sync rhythm so designers and engineers stay aligned.
What's your position on design trends vs. timelessness?
Trends sell workshops; timelessness sells for a decade. We design brand systems to last 5–10 years with evolutionary refreshes, and product interfaces to follow platform conventions so customers don't have to re-learn us. Distinctive, not novel.
